Driving Directions to Our Somerville Office

Our office is located in downtown Somerville in a four-story modern brick office building at the intersection of Main and Grove Streets, diagonally opposite the Courthouse. Parking is sometimes available on the street, but there is a parking garage/deck adjoining our building and another one across the street. Somerville is the county seat of Somerset County, located about 15 miles north of Princeton, 15 miles west of New Brunswick, 15 miles northeast of Flemington, 15 miles east of Clinton and about 15 miles south of Morristown. Major highways in our area include Route 22 (which sort of goes through Somerville); Route 287; Route 78 (about 5 miles north of Somerville); and Route 206 (on the western border).

From Morristown: Route 287 So.; when the road splits, follow Route 206 So. The Bridgewater Commons Mall will soon be on your left; exit to the right onto Route 22 East; about 1/2 mile or so, turn right onto North Bridge Street towards Somerville – watch your speed on North Bridge Street; several blocks and about 3 lights to East Main Street (1 block past High St., just past the courthouse on your left); turn left onto East Main Street, 1 block to the intersection of Main and Grove – our building is on that corner, across the street, on the right.

From Bergen County Area: Route 80 West onto Route 287 South; follow the directions above.

From Newark and Points Along Route 78: Take Route 78 West to the intersection of Route 287 (from Newark, do not take the first cut-off for Route 287 – which is only within a few miles of the Newark area and takes you to Route 287 heading North; rather, stay on Route 78 about 15 to 20 miles from Newark, to then get onto Route 287 South) ; take 287 South and follow the directions from the first paragraph above.

From The Amboys and New Brunswick Area: Route 287 North (it is really West, but that’s another story); exit onto Route 28 West (that is the second Route 28 exit); exit leads you onto Route 28 West into Somerville; on Route 28 about 5 lights and about 1 mile, to Gaston Avenue (there’s a light at the corner, a Rite Aid on the left and Social restaurant on the right – which by the way is an excellent restaurant), turn left onto Gaston Avenue (which is how Route 28 continues to flow); about 1/2 mile on Gaston Avenue to the end of that street and a light, turn right onto Route 28 West (which is now East Main Street); about 1/2 mile on East Main Street into the heart of Somerville; just before the corner of Grove St., with the Hotel Somerset on your right, we are on the left side (it will be just after passing a parking deck on your right).

From Brooklyn: Via the Verranzano, across Staten Island, onto the West Shore Expressway, over the Outerbridge Crossing, onto Route 440 South which becomes 287 North (which is really West, but that’s another story); follow the directions from the preceding paragraph.

From Princeton and Points South: Route 206 North; past Brooks Blvd., a little past Duke’s Park (it is on your left, and has a long row of stone fencing), at a light, right onto South Bridge Street; on South Bridge for about 1 mile into the heart of Somerville; you will reach Main Street (a light at the corner and the Courthouse with a grass knoll diagonally to your right); turn right onto East Main Street; 1 block to Grove Street; our building is to the right, across the street.

From Clinton and Points West: Route 22 East; past the intersection of Route 206; about 1/2 mile after that intersection, turn right onto North Bridge Street; watch your speed on North Bridge Street; several blocks and about 3 lights to East Main Street (1 block past High St., just past the courthouse on your left); turn left onto East Main Street, 1 block to the intersection of East Main and Grove – just past the intersection is our building, on the right.

From Flemington: Route 202 North; to the intersection of what was the Somerville Circle; do not take the bridge/ramp to stay on Route 202, but rather bear to the right to go towards Route 28; turn right onto Route 28 East towards Somerville; take Route 28 about 1 mile into the heart of Somerville; a left turn (at a light at the end of that street) puts you onto West Main Street; about 1/2 mile, through the town of Somerville, cross Bridge Street (it becomes East Main Street); 1 block past is Grove Street; just after is our building on the right.

From Florida, California, and Other Distant Points of Origination: Take the plane to Newark Airport, rent a car, and follow the directions above from Newark.
