Maria T. Donohue, CPA

Maria Donohue is an experienced financial professional and speaker/lecturer with over 30 years of combined consulting and accounting experience. Her career has focused on commercial and divorce litigation, forensic accounting, taxes, corporate accounting, CFO services, business valuation, systems implementation, and business process and controls improvement.

 

Ms. Donohue has worked with numerous clients on accounting and tax matters. She is also experienced in performing financial investigations for all forms of litigation (such as shareholder suits, partnership dissolutions, divorce proceedings, lost profits, and fraud matters and the like); as well as investigating finances for matters of funds flow tracing and determining income. She is experienced in valuing a wide range of businesses - for litigation purposes, as well as for estate and gifting, and shareholder or partnership agreements.

 

Additionally, she has served as a panelist/lecturer and instructor on various property and casualty state taxation topics and divorce topics for both accounting professionals and attorneys. Maria has also co-authored a book: Tax Returns — Choosing How to File.

 

Ms. Donohue earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also holds a Certified Public Accountant license in New Jersey. 

 

In her free time, she can be found enjoying time with her dog, and with family and friends. She enjoys the outdoors, whether that be hiking or traveling the world. She also enjoys photography and making pottery.
