Laura Johnson

Ms. Johnson has been a steadfast source of expertise and dedication in her 20+ years at the Barson Group. Her efforts center around tax return preparation, corporate accounting, forensic investigations, funds flow tracing, lifestyle analysis, and systems implementations. Attorneys value her sharp eye and collaborative work ethic as they seek her accounting support for litigation. Every day, clients operating their closely held businesses rely on her guidance for smooth business operations.

 

Ms. Johnson has shared her knowledge as a contributing writer of a chapter titled, "Bank Accounts" in the book Financial Issues & Planning Now that DOMA is (sort of) Dead, (Barson Group, Somerville, NJ 2014). 

 

Very supportive and active in her community, Ms. Johnson has been a Board Member of the National Immunotherapy Cancer Research Foundation since 2018 and serves as a Volunteer Event Planner for the Vincent R Gagliardi Foundation. Ms. Johnson is a graduate of Rutgers University.

 

In her free time, Ms. Johnson can be found running as she has completed 10 marathons and 2 ultra-marathons. When she isn't training, she spends time with her husband Gene, their two sons Alexander  and Brandon, and other family and friends.
